The PSAT usually runs on the second Saturday in October from 7:30am through approximately 11:00am for the standard testing time. Students who apply for and are granted extended time accommodations on the PSAT will test for a longer period of time. Students must bring a charged chromebook.

Grade 12
Standardized Testing Graduation Pathway- NJGPA and/or Portfolio Classes
All students must satisfy the standardized testing requirements to earn a high school diploma in the State of NJ. Students take the NJGPA during the spring of grade 11 and, if the score is proficient, this satisfies the standardized testing requirement using Pathway 1. If not proficient, students can retake the NJPGA again in Fall of Grade 12, but also must be working to satisfy the requirement using alternative pathways. Pathway 2 is when a student earns a proficient score on an alternative standardized test, usch as the PSAT, SAT, or Accuplacer test. Pathway 3 if the Fall Portfolio classes that are required of any student who has not satisfied the testing requirement using Pathway 1 or 2 prior to the start of Grade 12. Students will automatically be enrolled in the Portfolio classes in the fall of Grade 12 if the standardized testing requirement is still pending at the onset of Grade 12.
More information about the NJ State Standardized Testing Graduation Requirement Pathways is found here: https://www.nj.gov/education/assessment/requirements/.
SAT and ACT- Not school-based tests
The SAT and ACT are college entrance exams. Students who are interested in applying to college should consider taking the SAT or ACT in the Spring of Grade 11 and/or the Fall of Grade 12.
While some of these tests may be hosted at Lenape Valley Regional High School, Lenape Valley is third-party to these tests. This means that students must register and pay for these tests directly through the testing company. If a student qualifies for free/reduced lunch, the student can seek a fee waiver on the testing company’s website.
